You get it from the can, but it’s easy to make.

simmer 1 qt of heavy cream and 2 cups of milk in a pot
in a deep skillet put 1 stick of butter and five or six cloves of garlic on high heat until melted
toss in one lb of chopped mushroom and 1 large chopped onion
sautee until the liquid is gone
deglaze with some sherry
add two cups of broth (chicken or veg)
simmer and reduce a bit
spoon the mushrooms and onions in to the cream slowly while mixing
then spoon the remaining liquid in slowly while stiring
simmer for about 20 or 30 minutes

Serve hot. This serves about 8 and has about five billion calories (4500 really)
